By accessing and using the Craigmillar Community Calendar website ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides a community calendar platform for residents, organisations, and community groups across Craigmillar, Niddrie, Greendykes, Bingham, Magdalene, and Craigmillar Castle Parks to share and discover local events and activities.

3. User Accounts

Current Status: Account registration is currently available for verified organisations and community groups only. Public member accounts are in development.

Organisations registering must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Content Guidelines

All event listings and content submitted must:

Be accurate and truthful
Relate to community events in the Greater Craigmillar area
Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material
Not promote illegal activities
Not contain spam or misleading information

All content is reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to reject or remove any content that violates these guidelines.

5. Event Approval

Events submitted by organisations are subject to review and approval by administrators before appearing on the public calendar. This process typically takes 24-48 hours.

6. Intellectual Property

Organisations retain ownership of their event content, posters, and logos. By submitting content, you grant the Service a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content on the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the accuracy of event information provided by third parties.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
